Palida Georgoulakou
Palida was born and raised in Athens, Greece. From a young age, she discovered her need for artistic creation and her deep and intense desire to express herself through drawings and colors, through painting. In spite of her inclination, she worked as an officer in the Hellenic Navy. But still interested in art, she participated in seminars of history of art, painting, set and costume design workshops. Finally, the need for artistic expression won and she decided to pursue her passion professionally, search out her creativity and where she stands in the visual art field.
Palida enjoys the process of creation, which liberates and elevates her. She explores her trade by trying different mediums, techniques, and styles, as she seeks to depict her experiences, memories, feelings, dreams, and expectations on canvas. She gazes the world from above to create a visual story that will signify reality. She creates the visual narration that reflects the drama and the conflicts of everyday life under a sensitive, unusual and bold perspective.
Palida presented her first solo painting exhibitions in 2017 at Municipal Theatre of Piraeus, ‘Roads’ and ‘Days of the Sea’. Her paintings have been exhibited in Athens, Mykonos and Santorini in Greece, in Paris, France and Xi’an in China, she worked under contract and exhibited her artwork in 3rd Sino – French Cultural Forum
Currently, she spends her time between Greece, France, and China
